Following on from our recent blog post regarding Care Home returning to training, the Dechoker team were back at Fonthill House this week seeing some old and new faces.
The family-owned and family-run, 64-bed care home in St Albans provides a range of care and is rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.
Care Staff were able to practice using the Dechoker on one of our Simulaids Choking Manikin.
Sitting down is the most common position in which a Dechoker device is used in a choking emergency. Take a moment to consider how you would help a someone in a choking emergency when they are unable to stand up.
Dechoker training options include our free and CPD Certified eLearning module, something that is already available from care sector providers, Face To Face and Train The Trainer. For more information click here.
