St Anne’s Community based in Leeds have recently begun installing DeChoker ACD equipment across their settings.
The charity provide a variety of care services across the whole of Yorkshire and the North East including housing and accommodation, day and care services as well as community based support.
Staff recently completed their first round of training which will now see the the DeChoker ACD equipment installed, ready to be called upon in a choking emergency.
Providing care services for adults with a variety of needs and demands which can often make them more prone to choking is something the organisation manage every day.
The DeChoker ACD has been used to prevent multiple choking deaths in the UK since it was first launched in the UK years ago.
